Frustrated Foundation User! Needs your help!?
'm in a bit of a foundation slump lately. I have acne-prone skin which somehow manages to BOTH oily and dry at the same time! It seems that most foundations either accentuate my flakes [i exfoliate but to no avail] or make me super oily looking like a bacon fat V.v"
So far, I've already tried the following foundations:
Almay Clear Complexion_
Revlon Colour Stay _
Maybelline Pure_
Maybelline Dream matteMousse_
Maybelline PurStay Powder Foundation_
Physicians Formula Mineral-wear loose powder_
Rimmel Cool Mousse_
Rimmel Renew and Lift(?)_
Clinique Clarifying makeup liquid_
Would it be worth it to venture into the higher brands like DIOR, Prescriptives, Lancome etc?
I would really like a foundation that balances my combo skin [not make it too oily, not too flaky], does not cause breakouts [even if i wear it consistently] and gives me a satin/matte finish.
I would definitely recommend a better brand of makeup. I have combination skin and its acne prone and I really like Bare minerals. I didn't think I would like it because I usually don't like powders, but this has been the best by far. I covers really well, and its pretty good for your skin.
