EXPRESS LANE

A few days ago, I posted a supposed tip that I found in my inbox. It says that to be able to determine in which side of your car the gas tank is, you only need to look at the gas gauge in your dashboard. If the gas pump icon has the nozzle on the right side of the pump, the gas tank should be on the right side of your vehicle.

Well, I checked a Nissan SUV in Manila and it proved to be false. A check of a Honda Odyssey in Japan also proved such a claim to be untrue. the email that I got was entitled:

“the worlds best kept auto secret”.

Now, it should be forwarded with a new title that say:

“The worlds latest auto joke!”.

April fool is several months away but I got my share of it, this early.
